The Thai Super League adopts a double round-robin system of home and away games. The winner of each game will be awarded 3 points, the draw will be awarded 1 point each, and the loser will not score. The number of goals won determines the ranking. The league champion will participate in the AFC Champions League group stage next season, the runner-up and third place will participate in the AFC Champions League qualifying match next season, and the last three in the league will be relegated to the first division.
