Winning against the Cambodian naturalization team, the Vietnamese women's basketball team has a second victory

Led by Nguyen Thi Tieu Duy's increasingly impressive form, the Vietnamese women's basketball team completed a comeback against the host team Cambodia.

The yellow star red flag warriors overcame the 8-point gap created by the home team in the second half, then broke through in the third half before winning the final. The final score of the match was 86-77, the victory belonged to captain Huynh Thi Ngoan and teammates.

The naturalization of Maria Cooks from the US has caused many difficulties for the Vietnamese women's team in the inner row. However, even more annoying was the excellent pitcher Brittany Dinkins in the outer ring.

This 29-year-old defender owns a successful 3-point throw rate of up to 70% (7-10 3PT), constantly making it difficult for Vietnam national team. Meighan Simmons scored 14 points and 5 assists. Center striker Maria Cooks had a double-double with 19 points, 22 rebounds and 2 assists. This trio of naturalized players scored 66 out of 77 Cambodia's points against the Vietnamese women's basketball team.

Tomorrow, May 15, Nguyen Thi Tieu Duy and her teammates will have the last match at the 32nd SEA Games. The opponent of the Vietnamese women's basketball team is Singapore.

If they win, the Vietnamese girls will complete the SEA Games 32 5x5 basketball campaign with 4th place overall.
