Where and when will the SEA Games 32 basketball take place?

According to the latest information from the organizers, basketball at the 32nd SEA Games will take place from May 6 to May 16 at the Morodok Techo national sports complex, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The entire competition program will be divided into two main contents: 3x3 and 5x5:

Currently, the tournament organizers have not announced the competition format, draw results and participating teams. This information will be updated by Webthethao as soon as possible.

This stadium is divided into two main compartments, in which basketball will be held in booth 2 (Hall 2).

Morodok Techo National Sports Complex is 100% completed and put into use from December 2021 with a construction cost of more than US$200 million.

The stadium alone (Indoor Sports Center) has a total capacity of 5,000 seats and is divided into two main compartments. Booth 1 has a capacity of 3,000 seats and will be the venue for volleyball. Booth 2 with a capacity of 2,000 seats will be the venue for the basketball competition.

To prepare for one of the most important arenas at the national team level, the Vietnam Basketball Federation (VBF) has organized a reunion for all 4 events of 3x3, 5x5, men's and women's since early April. .

The whole team practices 6 days a week, focuses on activities and alternates friendly matches to rub and test the level of the players.

As for the Vietnamese men's and women's 3x3 basketball teams, they will be trained at the Asia Tour international basketball tournament taking place on April 22 and April 23 in the Philippines.
