Long-distance racers should choose pants designed with pockets that can be filled with gel, salt, and phones. When training and competing, runners avoid using clothes made of 100% cotton. Cotton takes a long time to dry, traps sweat, which can lead to skin abrasions when rubbed for a long time. This rule applies to clothing, socks, underwear, sports bras.

Runners should choose shoes made of breathable fabric, with ventilation holes to help cool the feet. A pair of shoes of the right size (usually one size wider than your foot size) will reduce scratching and darkening of nails.
During the run, the feet sweat a lot, so do not use socks with 100% cotton ingredients, causing the feet to become moist and blistered. Socks made of acrylic, CoolMax, Polyester better absorb moisture.
For the group of runners who aim to experience the racetrack, the slow running speed will face the Quy Nhon sun. When sunlight shines directly on the nape of the neck, it can vibrate the body's temperature-regulating center, leading to temperature-regulating disorders, causing heat stroke and heatstroke. So runners need to pay attention to use a towel to cover this part.
Caps also help athletes avoid the sun on the track. Hats without a cap, hats with good heat dissipation mesh, cool more effectively than closed hats. On the run, there are parts of the sun shining directly into the eyes. Athletes use specialized sports glasses to protect their eyes, limiting headaches caused by squinting too much because of the sun. Runner can use extra gloves to shield, avoid UV rays shining directly on the skin.
Summer running causes the body to lose a lot of water. This is the cause of heatstroke and heat stroke. To minimize this situation, runners need a water retention belt when training without a water team.
UV rays in the sun are the cause of skin cancer. Therefore, it is very important to use sunscreen to protect the skin against the harmful effects of UV rays. Runner should choose a cream that can block UVA and UVB rays, with a high SPF.
Choose a waterproof sunscreen. Because when exercising intensely, sweating a lot, waterproof sunscreens will be washed away. This is not only harmful to the skin, but also affects vision because the cream can run into the eyes. In the ingredient list of specialized sunscreens for sports players often contain zinc oxide, which is water-resistant, helping to protect players even though the body sweats a lot. If possible, athletes choose a type with more wind resistance and sunscreen on the lips.
