After beating Laos 3-1 in an early match, Myanmar raised the goal difference to +11. Therefore, Vietnam must beat Timor Leste with a difference of at least four goals to regain the top spot, creating favorable conditions when facing Myanmar in the last leg. Coach Mai Duc Chung used the strongest attack with Huynh Nhu, Tuyet Dung, Hai Yen to search for goals. He only adjusted personnel under the defense, ranking Con Thi Hang, Thu ThuOng, Hai Linh, Lan Anh, Thu Thao starting, so that the pillars such as Kim Thanh, Chuong Kieu, Thuy Trang, Bich Thuy healed.

Heavy rain flooded Binan Stadium, and the match took place 30 minutes later than the original schedule, at 19:30 Manila time (18:30 Hanoi time). Despite the slippery pitch, Vietnam still controlled the game and scored in the 10th minute. In a not-so-dangerous tackle, Timor Leste goalkeeper Da Costa handled the damage, and Huynh Nhu easily cushioned the ball into an empty net.

East Timor are defensive and try to clear the ball as far away from the goal as possible. In the 30th minute, Tuyet Dung took a corner kick, Haiyan headed the ball, East Timor defender flew out, and Van Su volleyed to pull the score to 2-0. Just five minutes later, Tuyet Dung was fouled in the restricted area, and then he successfully completed an 11m shot himself, expanding the difference to three goals.

Vietnam fought hard to attack and scored at least 4 goals in the 42nd minute. From Van Su's fine combination, Huynh Nhu shot from a small angle in the box to make it 4-0.

Just a minute later, Thu Thao conceded the ball to help striker Timor evade goalkeeper Khong Thi Hang. But Thu Thao came back in time to stop the opponent's end. It was East Timor's best chance of the first half. In the opposite direction, Vietnam completed 12 shots in the first 45 minutes, secured seven corners and controlled 65 percent of the time.

Thanks to the safety ratio to the first throne, after the break, coach Mai Duc Chung withdrew Hai Yen and vowed Thi Van to play, giving way to Huong and Thu Xuan. Vietnamese women still create many opportunities, but have not been able to increase the gap. The team only attacked better after Thuy Trang, Thanh Nha in turn into the field. In the 72nd minute, Thanh Nha escaped from the right wing and then stretched horizontally so that everything could easily cushion the ball to increase the score to 5-0.

In the 84th minute, Thuy Trang in the ball cushion lifted the score to set the score 6-0 after goalkeeper Timor Leste to splash the ball from Huynh Nhu's shot. The bold victory took Vietnam to the top of Group B to win tickets to continue. At the end of July 13, Vietnam only needs to Hoa Myanmar to hold the first place, meeting the second team in Group A in the semi -finals.
