In the Vietnamese volleyball village, there are many couples who have become predestined thanks to this sport. Some prominent couples such as Tran Giap - Bui Hue, Ngoc Hoa - Le Thai Binh. In the near future, the volleyball village will welcome a golden wedding of two athletes: Trinh Duy Phuc and Ha Thi Thu Hien, both of whom are competing in the libero position.

The same passion, the same direction and understanding the difficulties and hardships of the sports career, it is also the catalyst that connects the couple Duy Phuc and Thu Hien. The guy is currently playing for Trang An Ninh Binh, while his fiancée joins Geleximco Thai Binh. After 4 years of research, Phuc and Hien will go to the wedding on January 1, 2023.

Having to compete continuously is a characteristic of athletes. Both Hien and Phuc have just finished their journey with the host team to attend the 2022 National Sports Festival. After the tournament ended, both had very little time to prepare for their big day.

It is known that due to the intense training and competition schedule, the new couple is currently preparing to take wedding photos. Duy Phuc shared: "We also faced many difficulties when we both had to participate in training and competition. When we finished participating in the National Sports Festival, we had about 2 weeks left to prepare for the wedding. But With the help from both sides of the family, everything is almost ready now."

Having known each other when competing in youth tournaments since 2015, spent 4 years as friends, then officially fell in love in 2019 and now both decided to contribute rice to blow rice together. The time when the two fell in love and fell in love was the most difficult time when they often competed away from home and away from each other.

"Luckily when we met each other, the two of us went to a youth tournament in Hoa Binh in 2015. We were friends until the middle of 2019, then we officially fell in love, it's been almost 4 years now. After getting married, our future plans have also been outlined when Hien will put aside work for a while to have a baby while I will continue to work hard to practice and compete."

Both carry a mission with the club that makes them both forced to play often away from each other. Difficulties in their careers are always close to both, but there is always the opponent on the side to encourage and stand side by side with the tournaments: "Really However, when the two of us play for two different teams, we also face a lot of difficulties. Like we rarely see each other because we have to go to competitions and train often."

Phuc and Hien are both playing in the libero position. Playing in the same position, it is common sense for both of them to fall in love and fall in love. The couple always confided and shared with each other about everything, both life and competition. Perhaps, this is one thing that helps both of them stay connected: "Because Hien and I play in the same position, it's easier to understand work and talk to each other. We feel very good. lucky for that."
