Vietnamese female boxers enter the boxing world final
With taller and longer arms, Nguyen Thi Tam chose a preemptive approach when entering the competition. The Vietnamese boxer lured and hit with a straight fist, then suddenly hooked with his right and left hands. In the first half, all five referees gave Tim 10 points and the French opponent 9 points.
In the second half, Tim couldn't maintain the initiative because Laura found a way. The Vietnamese boxer's hook is no longer effective, and has been repeatedly pressed onto wires. In this round, the two sides made a small blow, mainly by embracing. Referee Mansur Mushidinov therefore fined two cards and demanded a more aggressive attack. Tim later lost because five referees only got two points and Laura got three.
In the final round, Nguy ễ n Th ị Tam maintains distance, keeping the opponent out of reach. At the crucial moment, she countered with three straight punches and three heavy right hand hooks.
While waiting for the results, Laura kept raising her hands to celebrate, looking more powerful than Ruan's heart. But in the end, the referee held the Vietnamese boxer's hand high and declared her victory. The four judges won by 29-26, 29-26, 28-27, and 28-27. The only person who scored for Laura was the host Indian referee, 27-28.
This is the first time in the history of Vietnamese players to reach the world finals. The last opponent of the soul is Lkhadiri Wassila. The French boxer was born in 1995 and has won seven national championships and two European bronze medals. Vietnamese boxers receive at least a silver medal and a $50000 bonus. This also won her tickets to the 2024 French Olympic Games.
Nguy ễ n Th ị Tam, born in Taiping Island in 1994, is an outstanding boxer in Vietnam, competing in the 50-51 kg class. She has won four consecutive national boxing championships (2017-2020), the 2018 Asian silver medal, the 2019 sea games gold medal, the 2022 sea games gold medal, and two Asian championships (2017-2022).
