Vietnamese boxers are about to compete with Chinese masters
The Rising Stars took place at The Grand Ho Tram on the evening of April 22, with six matches. Two of them are the competition between Vietnamese boxers and two very strong opponents from China.

Veteran boxer, seven-time national champion Nguyen Van Hai, will compete with Xiao Tao Su in the Light Weight category (57 - 60kg). Xiao is a famous Chinese boxer, having held two IBO Asia - Pacific championship belts, and the WBO Asia Super Featherweight belt (57 - 59kg).
Xiao is more experienced, with 13 professional matches. In which, he won 11 matches, with 6 by knockout. Nguyen Van Hai's professional record is only four victories, including one by knockout, through 5 fights.

Emerging talent of Vietnamese boxing Pham Huu Thuong will face a big challenge when he fights Zeng Yujie in the Super Flyweight (51 - 52kg). The 26-year-old Chinese boxer has a lot of experience when he has had nearly 30 professional fights, including 11 victories and three of them were won by knockout. Huu Thuong, 25 years old, has only played four professional matches, in which he won two and lost two, without a knock-out.
The highlight match of the event was the WBO Oriental Youth title defense of 11-fight Super Lightweight fighter Song Chan Ho against Thai challenger Poran Min Saeng Bak. Poran also has 11 wins, including nine by knockout.
In the remaining three matches, the 17-year-old Korean talent Lee Ju Yeong meets Bayarkhuu Ganbaatar (Mongolia), Tenorio Romeo (Philippines) faces Gun Kim (South Korea), Mikhail Lesnikov, Russian boxer of the home club Cocky. Buffalo, match Chinese opponent Xian Hai Zhang.
