Yesterday, August 21, New Generation TV Solution Joint Stock Company (Next Media) and VMG Media Joint Stock Company (VMG Media) announced the exclusive ownership of the Bundesliga on all broadcasting infrastructure in Vietnam in the coming time. five seasons, from 2023-2028. At the same time, matches in the German National Cup (DFB-Pokal) were broadcast in Vietnam for the first time, in three seasons.

On digital and television platforms, VTVcab is the full broadcast partner of all German football matches and produces a series of companion programs.

"With the comprehensive cooperation between VMG Media, Next Media and the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal this time, we bring even greater expectations," said Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam, general director of VMG. "Those are cooperation programs between the two countries on youth football training. The best young players in Vietnam will have the opportunity to train and compete in Germany, contributing to improving the quality of football in the country. ".

Not only the broadcasting rights, the parties have previously cooperated successfully on football development. Highlights are the friendly match between the Vietnamese team and the Dortmund club, the True Love charity fundraising match or the tour of the U17 team in Vietnam, a friendly match with German youth teams.

This time, the level of cooperation between the parties will be pushed to a new level. In addition to tour or friendly activities between football teams of the two countries, excellent Vietnamese male and female players will have the opportunity to go to Germany to play for clubs in their countries. Coaches from Germany will also come to Vietnam to select the best young players to train and compete in Europe.
