U23 Thailand won against host U23 Qatar

In the first round, Thailand played impressively and drew with Saudi Arabia 2-2 with an equalizer in the last minute. In the second turn, they continued to play counter-attacking defense against a more appreciated opponent. Qatar controlled the game, creating four dangerous chances in the first 20 minutes but were not sharp enough to make the difference. After that, Thailand gradually showed the danger in counter-attacks.

In the 24th minute, Thailand put pressure on the opponent's field, creating an opportunity for Channarong Promsrikaew to finish close to the penalty area, but goalkeeper Ali Nader Korayem saved it.
