U22 Vietnam lost the last friendly match before SEA Games

The two teams played behind closed doors at 18:00 today 24/4 at Ba Ria stadium. The only goal was scored in the 23rd minute, thanks to the home striker Khanh Duy after Duong Quang Trung Hieu's assist.
Due to Quan Van Chuan's health problems, coach Philippe Troussier gave the opportunity to reserve goalkeeper Doan Huy Hoang. Players who played less in the match against Ho Chi Minh City Club also played more. In the second half, the group of U20 players such as goalkeepers Cao Van Binh, Khuat Van Khang and Van Truong entered the field. U22 Vietnam tried to attack but could not find an equalizer.
The match with the first-class representative closed the preparation process of U22 Vietnam for the 32nd SEA Games. Before today's loss, the team played five friendly matches since the gathering in March until now. Tomorrow afternoon of April 25, U22 Vietnam will move from Ba Ria - Vung Tau to Ho Chi Minh City, to prepare to fly to Phnom Penh, Cambodia on the morning of April 26.
The current number of the team is 24 players. By April 29, U22 Vietnam will finalize the list of 20 players, including two goalkeepers. In addition, the team is allowed to keep an extra goalkeeper.
The front team of the Vietnam Football Federation VFF has been to Cambodia since the beginning of April to check the conditions of the yard and activities. U22 Vietnam will stay at the same hotel as the previous SEA Games.
