Tottenham dropped out of the English League Cup
Losing to the team at the bottom of the English Premier League Nottingham Forest 0-2, Tottenham were eliminated in the third round of the League Cup on the evening of 9/11.

Coach Antonio Conte used the most powerful squad with Harry Kane wearing the captain's armband, but they conceded two consecutive goals in the first half of the second half. Midfielder Jesse Lingard shone with a goal and an assist to send Nottingham into the fourth round for the second time in 18 years. And Tottenham are excluded from the only arena that has brought them titles in the past 30 years.
