The latest VBA Playoffs 2023 results today: Saigon Heat takes the lead
After 63 matches from early June, VBA 2023 has ended the Regular Season. From now on, the 4 strongest teams including Saigon Heat, Hanoi Buffaloes, Nha Trang Dolphins and Thang Long Warriors will enter the Playoffs stage to find the champion.
Ranked according to the win/loss record and rank at the Regular Season, the VBA Playoffs 2023 period will begin with two semi-finals as follows:
(1) Saigon Heat vs Hanoi Buffaloes (4)
(2) Hanoi Buffaloes vs Nha Trang Dolphins (3)
Each match will have a maximum of 3 matches, the team that wins 2 first will enter the final (best-of-3 format). Below is the detailed schedule of VBA Playoffs 2023, including the final series of VBA Finals 2023:

Compared to previous seasons, the Playoffs round of VBA 2023 has a notable change in the way the match schedules are arranged in the series.
The high-ranked team in the Regular Season will have to play away before being allowed to play 2 consecutive home matches (Away Game 1, Game 2 and Home Game 3), unlike the high-ranked team playing Game 1 and Game 3. Game 3 at home, Game 2 away like previous seasons.
This is a very notable variable, especially for the teams in the above groups because if they do not win away from home in Game 1, they will immediately face elimination in Games 2 and 3 (if it takes place).
The series of grand finals - VBA Finals 2023 - also has a change of teams in terms of scheduling matches according to rankings at the Regular Season. Game 1 will take place at the stadium of the higher ranked team (Saigon Heat or Hanoi Buffaloes).
Then Game 2 and Game 3 will be contested at the field of the lower ranked team (Nha Trang Dolphins or Thang Long Warriors). If necessary, Game 4 and Game 5 of VBA Finals 2023 will return to the field of the higher ranked team (Heat or Buffaloes).
