Teerasil helps Thailand win the AFF Cup group
Striker Teerasil Dangda's brace helped Thailand beat Cambodia 3-1 in the last leg on the evening of January 2, thereby topping Group A.
Thailand entered the last round with a slight advantage over Indonesia +1 goal difference. Mano Polking's teachers and students also got to play at home while the opponent had to march to the Philippines. There were times when Cambodia pushed Thailand to second in the group, especially after Sieng Chanthea's 1-2 shortened goal. However, no earthquakes were generated on Thammasat Stadium.
