SEALECT Cup 2023 Volleyball Live: Semi-final of Duc Giang Chemicals Tia Sang vs Nonthaburi

The SEALECT Cup volleyball tournament or formerly the Sealect Tuna Kor Royal Cup Thailand has officially returned in mid-July. In this season, Vietnam has a representative who is the reigning runner-up of the National Championship of Chemicals Duc Giang Tia Sang.

At the end of the group stage, the bronze medal won the first place in Group B with a winning record, the highlight of which was the victory over Supreme Chonburi, a leading volleyball club in Thailand.

With this result, the bronze medal was able to avoid PEA Sisaket VC in the semi-finals and only had to meet a not-so-strong opponent Nonthaburi. A victory for the reigning runner-up of the national championship and reaching the final will be a reasonable goal for Tu Linh, Bich Thuy and teammates.

SEALECT Cup takes place from July 15-20 this year in Sisaket, a province in the Isan region of Thailand. This tournament is sponsored by the Thai Royal Family. The representative of Vietnam will compete with 5 other teams, namely PEA Sisaket, Supreme Chonburi-E.Tech, Khonkaenstar Club, Rangsit University and Kasetsart University.
