Schedule of the 2023 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship

After conducting the draw ceremony to divide the table of the 2023 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, the organizers also announced the detailed schedule of 26 matches. This year's season was held in Vinh Phuc, Vietnam with the participation of 9 teams, representing the host country as the Vietnamese women's team.

Thanh Thuy and her teammates are in Group A with clubs from Iran, Japan and Taiwan China. While Group B saw the appearance of 5 clubs from Kazakhstan, Thailand, China, Mongolia and Hong Kong China.

The tournament takes place in 8 days from April 25 to May 2, in which the group stage matches close on April 29. This is an important tournament for the Vietnamese women's team to assess the strength of the girls before entering the 32nd SEA Games 2 weeks later.

With 9 participating women's clubs, the Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship has passed through the heavy effects of the COVID-19 epidemic, last season held in Kazakhstan with only 5 teams participating due to national teams. fear of epidemics and restrictions.

2023 also marks the 10th anniversary of the return of the highest Asian club tournament to Vietnam. In 2013, the tournament was held in Buon Ma Thuot, Dak Lak with 8 participating teams, in which Information LienVietPostBank represented the host who finished second in the group stage with a record of 2 wins and 1 loss.

The military team ranked 5th overall after defeating Thai club - Idea Khonkaen with a score of 3-2 and beating Chinese Taipei 3-0 in the qualifying match. Notably PFU BlueCats also participated in the tournament that year and finished in 3rd place.
