'Runner MetaSports Marathon can compete internationally'

After many times accompanying MetaSports Marathon, he saw that the tournament has built a series of activities with a high level of professionalism. Athletes almost all run on wide, beautiful roads, with security guaranteed by a team of nearly 1,000 volunteers. Support stations are a plus point when recent tournaments have had a large number of water, medical, and restroom stations. At VM Ha Long 2023, 42km athletes have more than 20 water stations along the race track.

"The beautiful, safe racetrack and lots of support are the first advantages that help athletes compete comfortably. Thanks to that, the tournament attracts everyone from high-achieving athletes to those who run to live happily and healthily," Mr. Dat said.

In 2023, the MetaSports Marathon began to attract many good runners from abroad. VM Ho Chi Minh City Midnight, Quy Nhon and Nha Trang all have African champions. According to Mr. Dat, due to good running track work and ensuring infrastructure, MetaSports Marathon is more attractive to foreign runners. The appearance of a group of athletes from Kenya and Ethiopia helps create fiercer competition but is an opportunity for top Vietnamese runners to strive and improve their achievements.

MetaSports Marathon Amazing Ha Long on September 10, the organizers do not divide the categories and movements. Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 finalists. According to Mr. Dat, this is also a notable change that helps the prize become more attractive and create fair competition. Athletes, both professional and amateur, have to do their best to compete for rankings.

"Gradually, MetaSports Marathon will become a training ground for high-achieving runners, helping to develop Vietnam's marathon. Vietnamese athletes can fully participate in regional and continental tournaments," said the Herbalife leader. Vietnam commented.

The nutrition partner representative also said that to bring the tournament to a regional or continental level, MetaSports Marathon needs a longer route. In which, the important factor is to ensure the infrastructure and running track. In addition, the tournament organization and professional indicators should be evaluated by international organizations such as the Athletics Federation.

MetaSports Marathon Amazing Ha Long 2023 is the 4th time Herbalife Vietnam has accompanied as a nutrition partner. MetaSports Marathon Amazing Ha Long is the 5th tournament in 2023 of the MetaSports Marathon system after Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang. The tournament has 11,000 athletes participating. The full marathon distance starts at 3am at the earliest, runs through sea-bound routes, with a view that embraces Ha Long Bay such as Tran Quoc Nghien, Bai Chay bridge, Ky Quan street, the way to Tuan Chau island.
