Ronaldo's team enters AFC Champions League group stage
Saudi Arabia Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will be able to play in the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2023-2024, after Al Nassr defeated Shabab Al Ahli (UAE) 4-2 in the pick-up round.

Because AFC limits foreign players to the tournament, Al Nassr can only register five foreign players: Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Ghislain Konan and Anderson Talisca. They were led backwards, but three goals in the last nine minutes helped the home team continue even though captain Ronaldo continued to be empty.
