Review Southampton vs Tottenham: Save yourself
Southampton are in a dangerous situation when they are pushed down to the last position in the table. After 27 rounds, the Hampshire team has only 6 wins, 4 draws and 17 defeats. Fortunately for Southampton, they are only 2 points behind the nearest relegation position (22 versus 24).
This is a gap that can be completely leveled in day one, day two, but of course, provided that Southampton knows how to save every single point. Next to Tottenham this weekend, Southampton must have points if they do not want to get closer to the relegation ticket.
Although Tottenham are in the top 4, they are not playing really well. They were empty-handed twice in the last 5 rounds, and were just knocked out of the C1 Cup by AC Milan after a total defeat of 0-1.
In particular, Spurs are having problems away from home. The white team has lost all of the last 4 matches, scoring only 1 goal, conceding 7 times. Notably, Tottenham lost the last 3 matches to accept the home team 0:1/2, most recently against Leicester.
