Revealing the first two lineups for VBA 3x3 Prime 2023: To Trung and Tu "Kobi" surprised

Only 6 days left, the first stage of VBA 3x3 Prime 2023 will take place in Hanoi Capital and today (March 13), the first teams confirmed to participate in the tournament were officially revealed.

On the official VBA fanpage, four teams will participate in the Men Pro content of VBA 3x3 Prime 2023 including Thang Long Warriors, Saigon Heat, Cantho Catfish and Ho Chi Minh City Wings.

Not long after the four names mentioned above appeared, two teams, Cantho Catfish and Thang Long Warriors, announced their lineups with a series of names both strange and familiar to Vietnamese basketball fans.

The surprising name is probably To Quang Trung, who will return to the 3x3 VBA arena in a new shirt. Last year "Teacher To" also played but played for Danang Dragons.

On the side of Cantho Catfish Club, the very familiar name DeAngelo Hamilton is the first foreign player. Another familiar name is Bui Quoc Tan, a pitcher who has worked with the Western team for many years.

In the remaining foreign troops, Catfish chose Desean Green - a 25-year-old American defender with a height of 1m88. The last season Green played for FC Artsakh of the Armenian A-League professional league, averaging 27.8 points along with 11.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game.

The most surprising is probably the last member - Le Ngoc Tu, one of the best quality internal soldiers in VBA in the past few seasons. After two seasons with Ho Chi Minh City Wings, Tu "Kobi" this time suddenly switched to playing for Cantho Catfish.

VBA 3x3 Prime 2023 will officially start the first leg in Hanoi Capital on Saturday, March 18 at Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street. A week later, the tournament will take place in the second leg in the coastal city of Nha Trang before moving to Ho Chi Minh City for the final leg.
