Real Madrid lost to Juventus 1-3, in the last friendly match before the new season 2023-2024.

Scoring: Kean 1', Weah 20', Vlahovic 90'+5 - Vinicius Jr 38'.

Holding the ball 70%, finishing 27 times and enjoying 15 corners, but Real still lost to Juventus. Slow start and missed opportunities are the main reasons why the Royal Spanish team did not have good results, in the final rehearsal before the new La Liga season.

Right at 48 seconds, Real Madrid conceded a goal after a beautiful bounce from Juventus. Weston McKennie's left foot shot sent the ball off the post, before striker Moise Kean was present to kick the ball into the empty net.

Nearly 20 minutes later, Thibaut Courtois and his teammates had to receive another cold water. From the ball on the left wing, McKennie penetrated the penalty area and then smoothly stretched for striker Timothy Weah to defeat the Belgian goalkeeper.

Soon leading 0-2, Real rushed to attack with high intensity. They had the opportunity to shorten the gap, but rookie Joselu made a confusing finish at close range. Carlo Ancelotti's students finally found a goal to shorten the score in the 38th minute. Toni Kroos poked a slot for Vinicius Junior to quickly escape, technically defeating Wojciech Szczesny.

Real continued to create great pressure in the second half, but could not earn more goals in the ungainly attack. Jude Bellingham, Joselu or Fede Valverde all missed delicious opportunities. Raised too high to find an equalizer, Real got a counterattack at the end of the second half. Dusan Vlahovic cut the cushion of the close-up ball accurately, fixing a 3-1 victory for Juventus.

Thus, Ancelotti's teachers and students ended their summer tour in the US with two wins and two losses. They started with a 3-2 victory over AC Milan, then continued to beat Man Utd 2-0, before losing to Barca 0-3 and losing 1-3 to Juventus. In the two defeats, Real scored a total of 56 times but only one goal.

Juventus used a patchwork squad but still defeated Real for the first time in 5 years. Many players in the team moved to leave, after the team was confused by UEFA's punishment. Juventus will start in Serie A on August 21 against Udinese, while Real will be a guest at Athletic Bilbao on August 13 in the first round of La Liga.
