Quach Thi Lan stopped at the world athletics tournament

The athlete ranked 24th and won the final place to the semi -finals, Linda Olivieri (Italy) with 56.09 seconds. In his career, Lan three times faster than 56 seconds faster, including 55.30 seconds in ASIAD 2018, 55.98 seconds in the 2020 national league and 55.71 seconds in the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Leading the Heat round of this content is the number one world Femke Bol (Netherlands) with 53.90 seconds. Sydney McLaughlin and Daliah Muhammad (USA) are behind with 53.95 seconds and 54.45 seconds respectively. These three athletes are expected to win medals at the tournament.

Lan is the defending Asian champion, ASIAD and SEA Games at 400m. She will have to protect all three titles in 2023. The 27 -year -old athlete is also the only representative of Vietnam to attend the 2022 World Athletics Prize, taking place in Eugene, Oregon, USA.
