Player Quoc Hoang stops at the world tournament

The 2023 world 10 ball pool tournament will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA from February 28 to March 4, bringing together 128 invited players. Vietnam has four representatives, in which Luong Duc Thien, Nguyen Anh Tuan and Ta Van Linh all stopped in the double qualifying round.

Quoc Hoang left the tournament with $2,000, the second highest prize money received by a Vietnamese player in the tournament's history. He won four and lost two in this tournament, with both defeats coming to the former world champion.

The next world prize in the WPA pool system is the 8-ball pool in Morocco at the end of May 2023. The next prestigious pool tournament is the Premier League (Premium Pool), taking place in Leicester, England from March 6 to March 13 with 16 players invited to attend. Vietnam has two places to attend, Nguyen Anh Tuan and Luong Duc Thien, competing against players like Filler, Albin Ouschan, Boening, Jayson Shaw or the legendary Earl Strickland.
