Opening of Saigon Basketball Championship 2023: Starting a series of basketball and entertainment festivals

Saigon Basketball Championship (SBC) is a tournament organized according to the Pro-Am model (the acronym stands for “Professional and amateur”) with the participation of both movement, semi-professional and professional players.

After a successful season in the Capital with the name Hanoi Basketball Championship, the organizing team decided to bring this special competition format to the South. Talking about the decision "Nam Tien", the head of the organizing committee - Mr. To Duy said:

"SCB 2023 is part of the Vietnam Basketball Championship series of tournaments organized by New Sports Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Cable Television Company with the goal of building and developing the basketball movement across the country. SBC 2023 has a total of 8 participating teams including In N' Out Club, Next Level, T-Hub, 4AM, U23 E-Balls, Limitless Hoops, Poseidon Ninh Thuan and Bao Loc United. All eight teams played on March 5 in front of an almost covered stand at Ho Xuan Huong Gymnasium.

Interspersed with matches and many beautiful balls that made the fans constantly cheer and cheer, Saigon Basketball Championship 2023 was also fueled by the impressive performance of rapper Lil Wuyn

There were 4 matches taking place on March 5, finding four winners on the opening day including U23 E-Balls, Limitless Hoops, Next Level Basketball and U23 T-Hub.

One thing more than the competition on the field is the experience that the tournament brings to the players as well as the audience. If the teams are always on fire on the field, the stands are almost covered, and the fans are constantly cheering after every time they witness the beautiful ball.

Saigon Basketball Championship 2023 will take place from now until the end of March 12. The entire match was held at Ho Xuan Huong Gymnasium, open to fans to watch.

Eight teams are divided into two groups, playing in a round-robin format. The first and second teams in each group will advance to a series of knockout matches including the semi-finals and the final.
