QatarNeymar praised the player who scored the decisive goal for Brazil in the 1-0 victory over Switzerland in the group stage of the 2022 World Cup, last night on November 28.

"Casemiro has been the best midfielder in the world for a long time," Neymar wrote on Twitter after the match at Lusail Stadium.

When asked about Neymar's views, Brazil coach Tite replied: "As a habit, I always respect and do not comment on opinions. However, this time I will do it differently. I agree with Neymar." .

Owning an all-star squad, but Brazil does not easily impose the game on Switzerland. It wasn't until the 83rd minute that they found their way into the opponent's goal, thanks to a volley of defensive midfielder Casemiro from about 13 meters into the far corner.

This is the sixth goal of the 30-year-old star for the national team, although his main task is to intercept and organize the ball from the middle. In the national team shirt, Casemiro won Copa America 2019. At the club level, he owned five Champions Leagues, three La Ligas and a King's Cup with Real. Currently, Casemiro plays for Man Utd.

In yesterday's match, Neymar was unable to participate due to an ankle injury in the opening match against Serbia 2-0. "Number 10" is said to have to rest until the end of the group stage. This affects Brazil's creativity more or less, although coach Tite has launched into Vincius, Richarlison, Raphinha, Rodrygo and Antony.

"Obviously, Neymar has a different skill set," said Tite. "He's a player in a magical moment who can dribble past you. He's got great creativity and we miss him."

At the 2022 World Cup, Brazil has the best squad. Besides Neymar, the attack also has two stars who won the Champions League with Real, Vinicius and Rodrygo, or the emerging Barca player - Raphinha, Tottenham striker - Richarlison and the most expensive player in the summer transfer window bought by Man Utd. from Ajax, Antony. In the midfield, they have Casemiro, Fabinho, Fred, Bruno Guimaraes, Lucas Paqueta and Everton Ribeiro. The defense also has many seasoned players, like Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Dani Alves, Eder Militao, or Danilo.

According to Casemiro, Brazil now has more options compared to the 2018 World Cup. This allows coach Tite to have peace of mind when there are injured players, or use many different styles of play. "Even without changing the squad, we have the ability to change the way we play. If we change players, we have even more options," Casemiro confirmed.

Brazil currently has six points from two games, three points ahead of Switzerland and five points ahead of Serbia and Cameroon. They thus became one of the three teams with tickets to advance after only two games, next to France and Portugal. In the last round, Brazil only needed to draw with Cameroon to secure the top spot in Group G.
