NBA Schedule 2023/24: LA Lakers and Golden State Warriors open new season
The schedule for the 2023/24 NBA season has been revealed, and there will be four best teams in the West that will face each other on opening night on October 24.
The defending champion Denver Nuggets will host the Los Angeles Lakers in last season's Western Finals rematch, while the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors will now face off in the first round of last season.

On opening night, the defending champion Denver Nuggets will receive the championship ring and the first coronation banner in history at home.
Their opponents, the Los Angeles Lakers, finished seventh in the West last season but made it all the way to the third round, having beaten Minnesota, Memphis and Golden State. But in the series finale, Denver won pretty quickly.
In the remaining match, the focus will be on Chris Paul. After three seasons with the Suns and leading the team to the 2020 final, Paul was pushed to Washington to let Bradley Beal go in the opposite direction, then he switched to the Warriors, in a deal called Jordan Poole. This is an opportunity for CP3 to confirm that the Arizona state team was wrong.

Another interesting aspect of the opening night was the absence of any representation of the East. As usual, the tournament will divide the attraction equally for both regions on the opening day of the season.
In addition, the number 1 pick of the 2023 NBA Draft, Victor Wembanyama will make his official debut for the San Antonio Spurs on October 25. His first opponent was Luka Doncic with teammates at the Dallas Mavericks.
