Mr. Viet said that Europe has a heating system and a roof to avoid frost and snow, so the grass is beautiful. Vietnam does not have these conditions, leading to a good or bad pitch depending on the weather.

Concerned that the pitch could cause injury to players, Mr. Viet said: "In my opinion, this field does not pose a risk of injury. Injuries come most from the rough ground. This has been handled by the regular pouring of sand and mud.. High-speed competition teams will often use low grass, relatively hard surface. The Vietnamese team is very active, not playing as fast as Kylian Mbappe. relatively soft, just poured sand, added more, our grass surface is not high."

The new My Dinh Stadium left a bad image when the goal was opened in the friendly match between Vietnam and Dortmund last month. Mr. Viet said this issue has been resolved and will not be repeated.
