EnglishThe Japanese winger, Kaoru Mitoma, dribbled from the middle of the field to score the opener, helping Brighton beat Wolves 4-1 and take the top spot in the Premier League.

15 minutes, Mitoma had the ball on the left wing about 50 meters from the goal. From here, the 26-year-old Japanese winger broke through the middle, swerved past four Wolves defenders, and then beat goalkeeper Jose Sa.

After the solo masterpiece, it was Mitoma who created Estupinan to double the gap in the 46th minute. In the 51st and 55th minutes, Solly March scored the remaining two goals for Brighton. Wolves only managed to remove one goal, with Hwang Hee-chan's goal in the 61st minute.

After the victory on the evening of August 19, Brighton took the lead in the Premier League with six absolute points and a difference of 8-2. Man City also have six points, but ranked second with a 4-0 difference. Before that, in the first round, Brighton ranked second thanks to defeating rookie Luton Town 4-1.

Mitoma joins Brighton in 2021, from Kawasaki Frontale (Japan), for three million USD. The 26-year-old winger started playing for the English team last season, after a season playing for Belgian club Union SG on loan. In 43 games for Brighton, he scored 11 goals and assisted nine times. Mitoma has assisted seven times in the Premier League, more than any Japanese player in the history of the tournament.

Mitoma is also the star of the Japanese team. He has scored seven goals in 17 international matches, participating in the squad for the 1/8 round of the World Cup 2022 and the semi-finals of the Olympic Games 2021.

At the age of 16, Mitoma once surprised when he turned down a professional contract to enter university. He then wrote his graduate thesis on the art of dribbling. Mitoma researched by attaching a camera to his head to record his movements and check which movements helped him outrun his opponents.

Brighton to the top of the Premier League in the context of just selling Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool, Robert Sanchez and Moises Caicedo to Chelsea. From these three transfers, they earned $223 million. Last season, the Falmer Stadium team also sold Yves Bissouma, Marc Cucurella, Neil Maupay and Leandro Trossard, to earn 149 million. Brighton is famous for its policy of buying low and selling high. Before selling Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo this summer, they only cost $14 million to buy.
