Midfielder Pham Duc Huy joined Nam Dinh

Pham Duc Huy's contract with Hanoi expired earlier this month. Due to not being able to play often, he decided not to renew with the team that just won the V-League and National Cup double in the 2022 season.

Duc Huy chose to join Nam Dinh. He received a liquidation certificate with Hanoi FC this weekend, eligible to sign a three-year contract with the owner of Thien Truong Stadium.

Duc Huy was born in 1995 in Hai Duong, grew up at the Hanoi Youth Football Training Center, was promoted to the first team to play V-League since 2016. He played 144 matches and scored four goals for Hanoi, winning four. V-League championship, three National Cups and three National Super Cups.

Duc Huy has played for U19, U23 and the national team. He played prominently at the Asian U23 tournament in Changzhou in 2018, with Luong Xuan Truong taking charge of the midfield, helping the team make a big surprise when it won the runner-up position. That year, Duc Huy continued to win the AFF Cup with the team, but mostly as a substitute.

Duc Huy will be present to join forces with Nam Dinh on 11/12.

Nam Dinh has continuously had to race for relegation in recent years. But with the presence of a new sponsor, the team is "changing blood" in series.
