The French striker is likely to refuse the offer of a one-year contract and a salary of $ 775 million from the Saudi Arabian team.

According to Relevo, a newspaper based in Madrid (Spain), Mbappe has no intention of playing for Al Hilal. The 24-year-old striker is determined to complete the last year of his contract with PSG, then join Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Earlier, on the afternoon of July 24, Al Hilal offered to buy Mbappe for a record $ 330 million. The Saudi team is also ready for the World Cup's top scorer in 2022 to enjoy a salary of $ 775 million and the freedom to join Real in the summer of 2024. The world transfer record currently belongs to the case that PSG bought Neymar from Barca in 2017. At that time, the French team spent $ 263 million to buy out the contract of the Brazilian striker.

After news of Al Hilal's offer, NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo joked on Twitter: "Al Hilal, you can buy me. I look like Mbappe."

The Saudi team responded: "Welcome to us as fans, Giannis". Mbappe quoted Giannis' status line with a series of funny and crying symbols.

Mbappe only has one year contract left with PSG. His refusal to extend to 2025, contrary to the original plan of the two sides, became the last straw. If not sold this summer, PSG will lose the French captain from July 2024.

After not receiving an explanation from Mbappe, on July 22, PSG decided to sell. They also put pressure on him by removing him from the list of going to Japan to tour. In response, Mbappe is said to be able to accept the whole season of 2023-2024.

Al Hilal is one of the most daring Saudi Arabian clubs this summer. The team that finished third in the Saudi Pro League last season spent $ 160 million to buy midfielder Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea, midfielder Ruben Neves from Wolves and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio. They once offered a salary of $ 400 million per year for Lionel Messi, but were rejected.

In addition to Al Hilal, according to Sky Sport, five clubs including Man Utd, Chelsea, Tottenham, Barca and Inter Milan also expressed interest in Mbappe.

Mbappe currently holds the record of scoring 212 goals in 260 games for PSG. With France, the 24-year-old striker ranked fifth in the list of goals with 40 goals, 14 goals behind the leader Olivier Giroud. He has won six Ligue 1, three French Cups, two French League Cups, two French Super Cups, the 2018 World Cup and the 2021 Nations League.
