Manchester United announce Eriksson
"Man Utd is a special club, and I am anxious to start a new journey. I am honored to play at Old Trafford many times, but to do it in the red shirt of Man Utd will be a great feeling," Eriksen Speak on the club homepage.

Eriksen was Man Utd's second rookie during Erik Ten Hag, after the left -back Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord. The Danish midfielder arrived at Old Trafford in the form of free, and signed a three -year contract, until the summer of 2025.
According to British newspaper Sport, Eriksson will not be involved in the rest of the training tour in Australia, with United facing Crystal Palace on July 19 and two other friendlies against Aston Villa on July 23. Instead, he will exercise at Carrington and could be given a chance when United take on Atletico Madrid in Norway on July 30.
Eriksson revealed that after speaking to Ten Hag, he was convinced by the construction of his vision and gameplay. He added: "I have seen what Sheag has done at Ajax and know the meticulous preparation he and the coaching staff make every day. Sheag is a great coach."

Just 13 months ago, Eriksson's arrival at Manchester United marked a great return after suffering a cardiac arrest during the Denmark-Finland Euro 2021 match. Thanks to timely treatment, Eriksson regained consciousness, but had to implant a pacemaker in his body to prevent similar situations in the future.
Eriksson later left Inter Milan because Serie A rules do not allow players to bring defibrillation equipment to play. The 30-year-old midfielder had to train with Ajax's youth squad to regain his fitness earlier this year and impressed with Ten Hag, who also led the Dutch club at the time.
In January 2022, Eriksson joined Brentford on a half-year contract and scored 1 goal and 4 assists. This summer, Brentford offered to extend his contract, but Eriksson refused to move to Manchester United. According to the Athletic, he had just undergone a more rigorous medical at Old Trafford with a heart problem.
Eriksson added: "I still have big ambitions and Manchester United is the perfect place to continue my top-flight career."

Director of Football John Merto hailed Eriksson as one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe. He believes the Danish players will add experience and help manager Ten Hag have more options in midfield following the departures of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard this summer.
After Eriksson, United are expected to announce a third rookie in the coming days-midfielder Lisandro Martinez from Ajax, worth $55 million. They are still in talks with Barcelona over Frankie de Jong. The two sides have agreed a total transfer fee of $85 million, but the Dutch midfielder does not want to move to Manchester United.
