Ly Luyen surpassed Thanh Thuy, officially becoming the athlete with the tallest height in Vietnamese volleyball

Height is always a great advantage in volleyball, which is why the statistics receive a lot of attention from fans. Over the years, captain Tran Thi Thanh Thuy has been known as the jewel of Vietnamese volleyball not only because of her technique and competitive spirit but also because of her impressive height of 1m93.

However, in addition to 4T owning a height of over 1m9, Vietnamese volleyball also witnessed another name "dinosaur" Ly Thi Luyen. In recent national championships Ly Thi Luyen reached a height of 1m90, but this is not the final number, the assistant born in 2000 still develops physically and becomes an unprecedented athlete in the history of volleyball in Vietnam.

According to the official competition list of the 2023 AVC Championship, Ly Thi Luyen has reached a height of 1m95, 2 cm more than captain Thanh Thuy. In reality, it is not difficult to recognize that Ly Luyen when standing next to Thanh Thuy is also a bit better.

Playing in the supporting position and possessing extremely tall height, Ly Thi Luyen has a lot of expectations from Vietnamese volleyball fans. In fact, the Hung Yen girl is also showing positive signs at the age of 23.

If last year Ly Thi Luyen often sat on the bench in the team's tournaments, then in 2023 she will be trusted and used more by coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet. Although she is still limited in her defensive abilities, Luyen is still very young and has many opportunities to rise and achieve more success in her career.
