Latest VBA Playoffs 2023 match schedule today: The big playground officially begins
Lasting since early June, VBA Regular Season 2023 ended on September 3 with the qualifying round champion belonging to Saigon Heat. "Mr. 30" secured first place in the Regular Season rankings in the final match.
Now Saigon Heat will join three other teams, Thang Long Warriors, Hanoi Buffaloes and Nha Trang Dolphins, in entering the Playoffs round, where the big playground will officially begin aiming for the VBA 2023 championship trophy.
The defending champion Saigon Heat as the number one seed of the tournament will face the fourth place team, Thang Long Warriors. Meanwhile, the second and third place Regular Season teams will face Hanoi Buffaloes vs Nha Trang Dolphins.
Each semi-final match will take place in a best-of-3 format, with three matches winning two. Whichever team has the second victory first will continue to the final series - VBA Finals 2023.

Compared to previous seasons, the Playoffs round of VBA 2023 has a noticeable change that is the arrangement of the schedule in the series.
The high-ranked team in the Regular Season will have to play away before playing 2 consecutive matches at home (Game 1 away, Game 2 and Game 3 at home), unlike the high-ranked team playing Game 1 and Game 3 at home, Game 2 away like in previous seasons.
This is a very notable variable, especially for the teams in the above groups because if they do not win away from home in Game 1, they will immediately face elimination in Games 2 and 3 (if it takes place).
