Kyrgios Medvedev type in Rogers Cup

Canadanick Kyrgios won the eighth match in a row when lowering the number one seed Daniil Medvedev 6-7 (2), 6-4, 6-2 in the second round of Rogers Cup on August 10.

Kyrgios won one of the biggest matches this year, before the opponent was at the top of the ATP transcript. The Australian player won 14 in the last 15 matches, with the only defeat in this chain was at the hands of Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final.

Medvedev was led 0-40 before losing the fourth gaming game, led 2-5. The Russian player surrendered to the last ball, let Kyrgios score four consecutive points and end the match. The convincing victory of the Wimbledon runner -up when he scored more Winner points and made fewer errors.
