Klay Thompson "not afraid of getting old, believes the Golden State Warriors can win at least 1 more"

Appearing on the podcast of NBA player Paul George, Klay Thompson shared his opinion about Golden State's aging squad and said it did not affect championship ambitions.

Thompson also added that Chris Paul has joined the team chat group, boosting the morale of new teammates even though the reunion period is still quite far.

"From me, Andrew Wiggins, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green to Chris Paul and the rest of the players on the team, everyone is very energetic, hungry and looking forward to the start of the season towards the championship goal," Klay said. Thompson told Paul George on the podcast.

“Chris Paul has just joined the team chat group and has started calling everyone to practice, organizing practice sessions together in small groups right during this offseason. It shows how excited we are all ahead of the new season."

“Definitely what people talk about a lot is Golden State's sizable average age group. But with that, we are a very experienced team in real combat.

I believe with this lineup, Warriors will have at least 1 more championship ring. This will be our only goal going forward, not this year but next year trying to get as many rings as we can," Thompson added on Paul George's podcast.

The trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have together won the NBA 4 times, participating in many consecutive Finals series. Andrew Wiggins arrived at Golden State not long ago also had a championship ring.
