Ho Chi Minh City night race closes registration for 21km distance today
MetaSports Marathon Ho Chi Minh City Midnight opened registration from September 6 and quickly filled the number of half marathon runners (21.0975 km). The organizers decided to close the separate registration gate for this distance early to control items, balance the number of participants for the four distances and ensure general safety for the official competition day.
Runners who want to conquer the HM distance at the Ho Chi Minh City night run only today to buy tickets before the registration gate closes at 23:59. The distances of 5km, 10km and 42km will continue to sell Bib until the end of January 10, 2023 or when sufficient quantities are available. The MetaSports Marathon Ho Chi Minh City Midnight will take place on February 12, 2023, with an expected scale of 10,000 runners.
Currently, the ticket price is in the Regular phase, the lowest is 709,000 VND for the 5km distance and the highest is 1,459,000 VND for the 42km distance. After more than three months of opening for sale, the Ho Chi Minh City night run has attracted thousands of registrations. More than half of them conquered the two longest distances - full marathon and half marathon. Many athletes who have experienced the feeling of running at night in Hanoi want to try their hand at a new running track in Ho Chi Minh City.
MetaSports Marathon Ho Chi Minh City Midnight organized by MetaSports Newspaper in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. This is the second night run of the MetaSports Marathon, after the VM Hanoi Midnight, and also the opening tournament in 2023 of the system. Participating athletes enjoy the same medical, security, race-kit and post-race care facilities as other tournaments in the system.
