Spain winger Eden Hazard could retire at the age of 32, after turning down all offers in the summer of 2023.

Hazard has turned down Saudi, American, Turkish and three French clubs, including Nice, Marseille and Lille. According to Foot Mercato, the 32-year-old Belgian winger is enjoying time with his family, is not interested in finding a new club and is about to make a decision to leave the field.

Hazard became a free agent on July 1. Before that, he and Real Madrid agreed to liquidate the contract one year early. The La Liga runner-up team accepted to pay their final year's salary in advance to part ways peacefully.

In the Real shirt, Hazard is the most disappointing contract in history. After moving from Chelsea in 2019 for $ 100 million, the Belgian star played only 76 games and scored seven goals. His number of matches is only more than the achievement in a season of most teammates. Hazard spends most of his time convalescing, or sitting on the bench due to a drop in form. In the eyes of Real fans, he became the representative of the players who lack motivation and do not know how to control their weight.

Before coming to Real, Hazard was one of the top players in the world. He has scored 110 goals in 352 matches for Chelsea, including 85 Premier League goals. With seven years of service, Hazard and Chelsea won two Premier Leagues, an FA Cup, a League Cup and two Europa Leagues. He also won a Ligue 1 and a French Cup while playing for Lille.

At the international level, Hazard is the brightest star of the golden generation of Belgium. He played 126 matches for the national team, scored 33 goals, attended three World Cups and two Euros. Hazard's best achievement with Belgium is winning a bronze medal at the 2018 World Cup.

Personally, Hazard won the 2018 World Cup Silver Ball, Premier League Player of the Year 2014-2015, Ligue 1 Player of the Year 2010-2011, 2011-2012, Europa League Player of the Year 2018-2019 and Belgium's best player 2017, 2018, 2019.
