Grizzlies beat Warriors heavily: Draymond Green and Dillon Brooks had a slam dunk
Starting from the fiery encounters in the Playoffs, the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies have become rivals. Before, during and after each encounter, the two teams always have words of exchange, whether on the field or through other means on social networks.
The match taking place on March 10 is no exception. Although the Golden State Warriors had the service of Stephen Curry, and the Memphis Grizzlies without Ja Morant, the defending champion was still "blow-out" with a score of 131-110.
Taking advantage of this result, the young players on the Memphis side immediately "raised their voices", namely Dillon Brooks with Draymond Green.

One ball in the game caught the attention of the audience, as Brooks stole the ball and then scored a quick counter-attack in Draymond's helplessness. Immediately after scoring, defender Memphis confronted Green to trash-talk.
Unlike usual, Draymond Green was silent this time and didn't have any reaction. This is a contrast from before the game, where Green used his podcast to attack his opponent.
“I was waiting to see what he would say. I purposely wanted to make that clearance and was willing to wait, but Draymond was quite polite today, saying nothing," Brooks shared after the win.
“I would have expected him to talk more like he was off the field. Maybe he knew he needed to find out before trash-talking us."
On the other side of the "front line", Draymond Green with the attitude of a loser responded that he was wise enough not to be fooled by Brooks.
Green said the opposing defender deliberately lured him to trash-talk to catch another technical error. If that happens, Draymond will be suspended for one game for committing 16 technical fouls since the start of the season.
"He thinks he can trick me, only I can lure him," Green shared. That's the difference between me and him, one is often set up, the other is not."

Draymond then enlisted the Memphis Grizzlies to "coffee", saying that the opponent was not yet level enough to be called a rival of the Golden State Warriors:
“The rivalry isn't created by trash-talking the other side, saying all sorts of things they haven't even done. One team must win, then the other team responds, that's called rivalry.
Obviously we've won four times, they don't have a trophy yet. We even eliminated them in the Playoffs last season, so we can't call them rivals."
Green also added that today's loss for the Warriors to the Grizzlies doesn't make much sense. What matters to him is what happens in the postseason, not a win in March.

Despite the service of Stephen Curry (scoring 29 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists), the Golden State Warriors still could not make it difficult for a team of Memphis Grizzlies without many pillars like Ja Morant, Steven Adams.
Three different Memphis players scored over 20 points including Jaren Jackson Jr, Tyus Jones and Desmond Bane. This diversity "shot down" Golden State, especially in the final round when the score was 32-17.
It's unclear if the rankings of the two teams will bring them to meet in the Playoffs, but if it does, fans will see an interesting matchup, both on and off the field.
