Greenwood wants to return to playing football

"Greenwood is acquitted and needs a chance to start over," the Man Utd striker's representative told Athletic. "He is 21 years old, still young to continue his career."

Greenwood joined the Man Utd training camp at the age of six, having been with the team for the past 15 years. He scored 35 goals in 129 games for the "Reds", and once played for England.

However, he has not played in the Premier League since January 2022, when he was arrested on suspicion of rape, sexual assault and threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend. This person posted on social media videos of injuries and audio recordings of Greenwood's attack. The 21-year-old striker had his contract terminated by sponsors, and was suspended from training or playing for Man Utd.

According to Mirror, Man Utd has rejected several offers from the Turkish club for Greenwood. His agent said that "Greenwood is ready to rush over the brick wall to continue playing for Man Utd".

At the prospect of Man Utd allowing Greenwood to play again, the female players of this team reacted. The British newspaper said that the Man Utd women's team did not want him to return to the team's training ground. Donors may also not support this decision.
