Golden State Warriors closes the return date for Stephen Curry: A month of waiting is coming to an end
Exciting days are being extended for Golden State Warriors fans when their beloved team has just won their 5th consecutive victory, the longest unbeaten streak since the beginning of the season.
Besides, another good news has just arrived related to the number 1 star of the team, Stephen Curry. Warriors technical director Bob Myers has updated Curry's injury situation for fans, aiming to return to the 34-year-old star.

More specifically, Mr. Myers said that Stephen Curry's injury recovery process has gone well over the past time. Neither the medical team nor Curry had any negative feedback.
Fortunately, the shoulder injury that Curry encountered did not require surgery, helping him to reduce the time he had to be out (compared to 2-3 months if he was on the operating table).

“Up to this point everything has been smooth, there have been no setbacks or problems in the healing process,” said Bob Myers.
“Stephen Curry has been training again for the past week on the field, training with the ball alone and without contact. The medical team will see Steph again later this week to check the impact of training and recovery.
We aim to have Stephen return next weekend in San Antonio. Minutes will be limited and Stephen will come on with a shoulder strap. Of course, that's in case things go for the best."

Stephen Curry's injury comes amid a series of meltdowns for the Golden State Warriors. The Chase Center home team lost 5 times in 6 matches and saw the total score drop to 15-18.
It seemed that stunning Curry would make things worse, but Jordan Poole and his teammates were revived. They took a solid home ground to regain the feeling of victory (losing only 2 out of 19 home matches since the beginning of the season).
Up to today's match against the Pistons, the Warriors have improved their record to 20-18, opening a 5-match unbeaten streak. Currently ranked 9th in the rankings, Golden State is only 2 matches away from 4th place Dallas Mavericks (22-16).

Welcoming Stephen Curry back in the midst of a sublime series will be good news for Golden State Warriors fans. Another good thing is that despite the shoulder injury, Curry got it on his left shoulder, not the dominant hand he used to shoot.
“In bad luck with luck, I am extremely grateful that I did not injure my shooting hand,” Stephen Curry shared. My right hand has remained unharmed the whole time."
Before being sidelined since mid-December, Curry was averaging 30.0 points along with 6.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists. Steph's scoring efficiency is also very high with over 50% FG - 40% 3PT - 90% FT.
