Former international superstars in the NBA lead the list of Hall of Fame nominations in 2023

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame - will welcome a host of former NBA superstars.

According to ESPN and The Athletic, leading the group of legends honored is a quartet of former All-Star and All-NBA players including Dwyane Wade, Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol along with Tony Parker.

WNBA legend Becky Hammon and veteran coach Gregg Popovich were also selected, creating a truly "all-star" Hall of Fame honor.

Dwyane Wade retired at the end of the 2018-19 season after spending 16 years at the top of the NBA. He has a total of 13 times in the NBA All-Star, 8 times honored in the All-NBA typical team and is the owner of 3 championship rings.

Also retiring at the end of the 2018-19 season with D-Wade is Dirk Nowitzki, one of the European legends in the NBA. Dirk spent his entire career with the Dallas Mavericks, playing a total of 20 seasons and winning the championship once.

If Wade is considered one of the best Shooting Guards in NBA history, Dirk Nowitzki is the leader of the "bigman shooting" movement with his forte fade-away.

Besides Wade and Nowitzki, the next name to be honored in the hall of fame is Pau Gasol. Spaniard Bigman also retired in 2019 after a career spanning nearly two decades, spanning several eras with teams like the Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks.

Pau Gasol is the NBA champion when he was crowned twice with the Lakers, next to the late legendary Kobe Bryant. He was recently hung up by the LA team.

Coming to the next two members of the Hall of Fame, both of whom have a special connection to the San Antonio Spurs.

The first is legendary coach Gregg Popovich, the captain with the most wins in league history.b Starting in 1995, he is still working for Spurs as of the current season. At the same time, "Master Pop" has an Olympic gold medal in Tokyo 2020.
