Forget the Philippines, the SEA Games 32 men's volleyball has to be picked up again
The Philippines was not included in the April 5 draw list. That day, there were only seven teams including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia and Singapore. Soon after, the Philippine Volleyball Federation (PNVF) spoke up, confirmed that it had registered to participate and asked the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) and CAMSOC to reconsider.
Yesterday afternoon, CAMSOC met with representatives of eight National Olympic Committees with men's volleyball teams, including the Philippines, to discuss solutions. And five of the eight committees agreed to let the Philippines participate. On the principle of majority consensus, CAMSOC decided to re-draw the men's volleyball content. The draw time will be determined in the next announcement.

Host Cambodia and POC did not announce the cause of the error that caused the Philippine men's volleyball team to be forgotten. But according to Rappler, the fault may lie in the delay in sending the list from the POC, and there is no confirmation from both sides.
It is expected that Indonesia and Vietnam are in the number one seed group. Thailand and Cambodia are in the second group. Malaysia and the Philippines are in group three, while Singapore and Myanmar are in group four.
Indonesia is the defending champion and the number one candidate for the 32nd SEA Games gold medal. The silver medal is considered a race between four teams Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and the Philippines. Indonesia has the most achievements, with 11 gold medals, followed by Thailand (8) and Myanmar (3).
In the women's event, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar and Malaysia are in Group A. Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines and Singapore are in Group B.
Indoor volleyball will take place from May 3 to 14 at the main gymnasium of the Morodok Techo Sports Complex, Phnom Penh.
