Foreign Soldier John Fields: 'Marrow insulted me, my family and my wife'

There were many collision situations between Jermaine Marrow and John Fields in the match Danang Dragons came to visit at Thang Long Warriors on the evening of July 22.

One of these plays resulted in the two players trash-talking each other and, according to Warriors foreigner John Fields, his opponent went beyond words.

“Number 2 player Jermaine Marrow said a lot of disrespectful things about me, especially towards my family and my beautiful wife. Things went a little off-limits there.”

Originally a striker with the task of guarding the near-basket, John Fields often had physical contact with opposing players, especially scorers like Jermaine Marrow.

The two have faced each other many times and had relatively strong collisions at both ends of the field.
