Djokovic enters Wimbledon final
On the hottest day since the start of the game, Djokovic continued to start as slowly as he did against Yannick Sinner in the quarter-finals. The first seed made three self-destructing mistakes when he lost the first serve. Despite winning his next catch, Djokovic still has a poor sense of the ball, as he often drives the ball into the net or off the line. He won just one of his four serve innings in the first set before losing 2-6.

Norrie first reached the semi -finals of Grand Slam to play firmly and not psychologically despite standing in front of tens of thousands of home spectators. But the number of nine seeds only maintained the battle to the second half set. When Djokovic caught up and accelerated the finishing phase, Norrie immediately had difficulty. He lost the ball game in the eighth game of Set Hai, let Djokovic win 6-3.
Djokovic attacked more in the third set after getting used to the low shots of the younger generation. He had nine winning points and only made four self-destruct mistakes in this set. On the other side of the net, Norrie's forehand and backhand behind baseline both diminished power and did not reach a dangerous enough drop point. The hosts lost two serve innings, failed to win a break point, and then hung the ball 2-6.
Norrie continued to lose to Set's first gaming game and could not hold on to the hope of equalizing when Djokovic serve became increasingly good. The owner of 20 Grand Slam only lost two points in the four sets of this set of balls. In the game ending the match with a score of 6-4, Djokovic also only let Norrie win two points.
Djokovic won in four sets in the 11th semi-final of Wimbledon and the 43rd of the Grand Slam. He reached the final for the eighth time at the All England club, aiming to tie idol Pete Sampras' record of seven titles.
At the age of 35, 49 days, Djokovic was the third old player to the Wimbledon final, after Roger Federer and Ken Rosewall. He has not lost in this tournament since 2018, with 27 matches.
"I hope experience will continue to play a role in the final against an excited and in good form opponent," Djokovic said when asked about the title game against Nick Kyrgios at 8pm on July 10.
