Italy winger Angel Di Maria beautifully shot from a distance to help Juventus win 2-0 on Spezia's field in the 23rd round of Serie A.

In the 66th minute, while moving about 30 meters from Spezia's goal, Di Maria suddenly shot a left-footed shot into the far corner. The goal of the 2022 World Cup champion fixed the score 2-0 for Juventus.

Before Di Maria's shining moment, "Old Lady" was in dire need of a match decision. After Moise Kean cushioned the ball to open the scoring in the 32nd minute, Spezia continuously pushed up the squad to equalize. Goalkeeper Mattia Perin made at least two saves for the former Serie A champion.

After starting in the 1-1 draw with Nantes on February 16, Di Maria started this match on the bench. However, before the game increasingly tilted towards Spezia, coach Max Allegri was forced to let the 34-year-old star on the field. And Di Maria scored just 11 minutes after replacing Kean.

After the second goal, Spezia played like she had nothing to lose. The home team flooded the field, controlled the ball 58% and launched a total of 10 shots. In the 71st minute, Perin continued to save for Juventus. The keeper pushes the ball out of the near corner after Gyasi's long shot from 12 yards.

This is Juventus' third consecutive win in Serie A, after beating Salernitana 3-0 and Fiorentina 1-0. "The old lady" owns 32 points after 23 matches, ranked seventh, 12 points behind the fourth ranked team AC Milan.

If 15 points are not deducted for falsifying financial statements, Juventus has 47 points and is ranked second. The current second-ranked team, Inter also has 47 points, but the difference is poor. Since the point deduction, Juventus won three, drew one and lost one match.

On February 23, Juventus will play the second leg of the Europa League play-off round at Nantes Stadium. Allegri's teachers and students need to win the Europa League to attend the Champions League next season.
