Deadlock with Kyrie Irving, Lakers back with the goal of the old transfer
A year ago, Los Angeles Lakers was very close to defender Buddy HIELD, but at the last minute "turned the car" at the will of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, recruiting Russell Westbrook.
Now, in the plan to change before the new season, Lakers is trying to push Westbrook to Brooklyn Nets to get to Kyrie Irving. But while this deal was deadlocked, the old name Buddy Hiield appeared.

According to ESPN, Los Angeles Lakers had the first contact with Indiana Pacers to bring the 29 -year -old defender to Staples Center.
Last season, HIELD recorded an average of 18.2 points per game in the Pacers shirt, reaching the 36.6% throw efficiency - the number was not too high but it could increase if playing next to James and Davis of Lakers.

Indiana currently has enough space in the salary fund to bring back to Russell Westbrook. The Indianapolis city team can completely bring Myles Turner to Lakers with Hiield.
But in return, they want to have 1 to 2 times to choose the first round of NBA Draft in the future, something that Rob Pelinka CEO will have to consider very carefully.

In the second option, Lakers only recruited Buddy HIEELD, and used Talen Horton-Tucker, Kendrick Nunn and 1-2 players to weigh.
Irving is still Lakers's No. 1 priority on the transfer market, but the angel city team does not have much time to wait, especially when LeBron James is about to turn 38 years old.

Besides, BLD La Lakers also realized that sooner or later they need to add throw hands to the current squad. Not only Buddy Hiield, the California team soon drew the direction of recruiting Eric Gordon of Houston Rockets.
