Dad advised Nadal to give up in Wimbledon
Father, sister, wife and members of Nadal's training team were worried in the second set, when the Mallorca player called for medical care. Nadal previously frowned and made many errors when losing the first set of 3-6.
The television lens caught the scene of Nadal's father, Sebastian seemed to signal to his son to give up with a drastic attitude. Nadal's sister, Maria also waved his hand to stop. But, the 36-year-old player continued to play and won two 7-5. Nadal also did not give up even when losing Set Ba. He maintained the toughness, won both the last set, including the 10-Tail Tie-Break series, to win tickets to the semi-finals after nearly five hours of competition.
Nadal said always facing the family to get the spirit for each ball, but rejected the advice of giving up her father and sister. He said: "To me, the decision to give up halfway is always difficult, even though I know the game will last. I did this several times in my career and hated it repeating it."

According to Tenniswordusa, Nadal nine times gave up halfway because of injury, since the first time in 2005 in Auckland. When meeting Fritz at the Final of Indian Wells Masters in March, Nadal did not give up despite his ribs. He then lost to American player and had to take six weeks of treatment.
Nadal was seen using an abdominal patch against Bodych van der Zan Schulp in the fourth round at Wimbledon on July 4. Spanish newspaper Marca said at the time that the 36-year-old star wanted to prevent injury while playing on the fast grass at Wimbledon.
Nadal refused to give a definitive answer when asked about the possibility of a semi-final against Nick Kyrgios on July 8. He said: "If I insist on taking part in that competition, then what happens to my body tomorrow will make me a liar. At present, I am not sure about anything."
