Croatia has an admirable record at the World Cup in 24 years
The Croatian team won the third place of the 2022 World Cup after defeating Morocco with a score of 2-1. This is the third time the plaid team has won a World Cup medal and it is amazing how this has happened in just 24 years.

Going back in time to 1998, Croatia entered its first World Cup just seven years after gaining independence. Davor Suker and his teammates immediately surprised when they defeated the two giants of Germany and the Netherlands to win 3rd place overall in the first time participating.

After that, the plaid team continuously won the right to attend the World Cup finals and only missed 1 time in the last 7 tournaments, which was the 2010 World Cup held in South Africa.

Even more impressive is that Croatia has 3 times to finish in the Top 3 World Cup after only 6 times participating in the tournament. They ranked 3rd in 1998, 2022 and second in 2018.
This is really an extremely respectable achievement for a country with a population of less than 4 million people and is the 4th smallest country in terms of population at the 2022 World Cup.
