Comments Tottenham vs Bournemouth: Light up hope
Last weekend, Tottenham had a tough 2-1 victory over Brighton at home and continued to raise hopes of breaking into the top 4 of the Premier League this season. Accordingly, Harry Kane and his teammates are temporarily in 5th place on the table with 53 points and are less than the top 4 (the group participating in the European Cup) by the score gap of a victory.
However, fans need to remember that the London team has kicked one more game than their competitors and just one misstep for the rest of the season will make Tottenham's chances of participating in the European Cup disappear.
This weekend, Tottenham continue to play at home and surely the Rooster wants to have all 3 points to light up the top 4 hope. With the home field advantage, this is a task within Tottenham's reach, but it is likely. they also only won by a minimal margin.
Remember, the away team Bournemouth is in dire need of points to stay relegated and they have seen their determination to improve when they won 3 of the last 5 matches in the Premier League. Still having a disadvantage when playing away from home, but with the current performance, Bournemouth is not an opponent that can be underestimated.
