The bookie put Graham Potter at the top of the group of coaches with the highest risk of being fired in the current Premier League, when Chelsea drew and lost in February.

According to PaddyPower, the odds of Potter being the next coach in the Premier League in the 2022-2023 season to lose his job have just been raised to 4/11 (i.e. 11 to 4). The British coach is under a lot of pressure despite being selected by new owner Todd Boehly to succeed Thomas Tuchel on a five-year contract in September 2022.

Potter currently leads Chelsea in 26 matches in all competitions, with a record of nine wins, seven draws and 10 losses. Since the 1-0 win against Crystal Palace on January 15, "The Blues" drew three and lost three of the last three matches. best in all arenas.

Chelsea were knocked out of both the FA Cup and League Cup by Man City, 0-4 and 0-2 respectively. The owner of Stamford Bridge also lost 0-1 to Dortmund in the first leg of the 1/8 Champions League round, and will play the second leg at home on March 7. Last weekend, Chelsea lost 0-2 at Tottenham in round 25 and stood in tenth place with 31 points, 14 points behind the Champions League group.

Immediately after the Tottenham defeat, a petition demanding that Potter leave the Chelsea job appeared online on Change.org, and attracted more than 4,000 people to sign in just 40 minutes. This number increased to 8,000 signatures an hour later. "Todd Boehly, Behdad Eghbali, and shareholders, for the future of Chelsea, fire Potter," the petition reads.

In early February, British newspaper The Athletic reported that the Chelsea owner was aware that Potter needed to be given time and patience when the club shopped wildly in the last two transfer windows. Chelsea have spent a total of 668 million USD to bring in 16 players over the last two transfer windows, for the 2022-2023 season.

But according to The Telegraph, after the defeat to Tottenham, the patience of Chelsea owners with Potter is "dwindling". Accordingly, the next two matches against Leeds in the 26th round of the Premier League on March 4 and Dortmund in the second leg of the 1/8 Champions League round on March 7 will determine the future of the 47-year-old coach.

Following Potter in the list of coaches with the highest risk of being fired in the Premier League currently is David Moyes with a ratio of 10/3. West Ham are currently ranked 16th with 23 points, two points above the relegation group. Moyes took some of the pressure off when West Ham crushed Nottingham Forest 4-0 over the weekend.

The next names are Gary O'Neil of Bournemouth (January 8), Steve Cooper of Nottingham Forest, Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool (January 12), Antonio Conte of Tottenham (January 14), Patrick Vieira of Crystal Palace (January 16), Brendan Rodgers of Leicester (January 25) and Sean Dyche of Everton (January 50).

Eight coaches have lost their jobs in the Premier League in the 2022-2023 season, including Scott Parker (Bournemouth), Thomas Tuchel (Chelsea), Bruno Lage (Wolves), Steven Gerrard (Aston Villa), Ralph Hasenhuttl (Southampton), Frank Lampard ( Everton), Jesse March (Leeds) and Nathan Jones (Southampton).
